We are a residential treatment facility specializing in the unique needs of children and adolescents ages 5 to 17. Our pediatric mental health programs provide intensive treatment in a caring, structured environment.

Just for Kids (ages 5 to 12)

We offer one of the only children’s behavioral health programs of its kind in the state of Florida. Clinical programs combine therapeutic services, elementary school education and supervised play in a secure environment. Staff tailor your child’s care experience with individual and group therapy. Adolescents Behavioral Program (ages 13 to 17)

We use evidence-based approaches to help young adults learn new strategies for regulating emotions, communicating and socializing. Your child’s schedule includes individual and group therapy along with schooling and recreational activities. Treatment for substance use disorder is available when necessary. Mental Health Services for Military Kids

SandyPines provides specialized pediatric mental health care for children of active-duty military members and veterans. Services address the unique mental health challenges of having a parent in the military.   • Education services: Riverbend Academy is an accredited on-site school and part of the Martin County School District. Your child receives six hours of schooling on weekdays from licensed teachers. Find out more about educational programs.
